Well having always been a Vauxhall fan most of my cars have been Vauxhalls. I have mostly had Modified Cabbys but space was always an issue. I bought a new fiesta ST3 back in Jan 2015 but to cut the story short it wasn’t for me and I sold it after 10 weeks. So the hunt was on for my next car. I had plans to go to a Mk5 VXR but everyone seemed to have them. After searching for some time I can across the van.
Having never been a speed freak the van was perfect. The van was built by a company as their work show van but they decided to sell it for their own reasons. I don’t normally buy already done cars but this one felt right. So after a quick viewing it was mine.
About The car
So as stated I did buy the van in its current state. I have never tried to say I built it. Personally, I don’t feel it a bad thing to ‘Buy not Build’ as long as you don’t try saying you built it. The van has had a lot of work was done to make it look like it does. I get a lot of compliments on how good the paintwork is. It makes the van really stand out. It currently sat on V2 Air ride with 3DSM 0.04’s. I use these through the winter due to the mileage I do. My WCI’s will go back at the beginning of April. The interior is currently from a VXR and has a piano black trim. I have the air management built into the centre console along with a 7” Kenwood Garmin Sat Nav and Trip computer.
I have plans to make the van my own but with a new born son and a new house on the cards it has had to take a back seat for now. I have many plans and I’m sure by Show Season 2016 some of them will be in place.
